Dbl Duck Goldedge Giveaway!
Last year, after the last razor giveaway, I sent Lynn a nice Goldedge Dbl Duck in the hope that some *new* fella here would have the chance to own a really nice razor. Well I haven't heard anything about this giveaway for a long time now and there's been a lot of talk about these Dbl Ducks recently, so I think it would be a great time to give it away. I'd be really happy to see one of our new members enjoy it. There's also that near mint Dovo special I sent too; it would make a great starting razor for someone else. How about it Lynn? Thanks!

Ooh, Ooh, pick me!
Ed (ForestryProf) was awesome enough to send a Genco to me as a starter. I haven't tried it yet because I still need to order a strop from Tony and I don't want to waste the edge Ed put on it (I've shaved some arm hairs and it's SHAAAAARRRP), but I'd certainly welcome an extra blade.
Thanks!

Thanked: 5I'd like a straight razor too!
Currently I'm using my DE, but I'd like to get started with a straight and the required accessories sometime during this year.
Cheers,
Sigurd.

Thanked: 0I would love to try a Dovo Special. I'm currently straight razorless, except for a few old eBay specials that need some TLC. Another member has graciously offered to help me out with getting a couple of those shave ready, but I would love to try a more modern razor out too.

It's a Genco "Red Cross", and it's a round point. Ed also sent a couple TOBS samples. Can't wait to try it all.
