so far I have shaved ONLY with my right hand. I am sure that a lot of, if not a majority of, new people use their dominant hand for the whole shave.

I've been using nothing but a str8 for almost 2 years. So far only a few minor cuts on my chin when I was learning and the occasional earlobe slice when I use a square point (blood offering to the razor god.lol).

I think Bill mentioned that is his wrist, not his Adam's apple... Bad anyways...

I've had bad cuts from Gillette products, not str8 shaving. Crossing the street is more dangerous than shaving with an open blade, IMHO.

A few nicks on the chin a cut on my thumb that was just like a paper cut.

Smoking will do way more damage but still millions of idiots do it (yes they are idiots!)

And some of us may take exception to being called idiots. Even though it's politically correct, it's not a good idea in a predominantly male forum. I suggest that you edit that post.

Well I smoke and maybe if I get upset I could be more dangerous than a cut thumb ?
