How many Straight Razors do you Own?
I don't think I've seen this question asked before. It's easy to tell from the photo galleries that some of the members here have massive collections, but I'm curious about the average straight razor user. How many do you have? What kinds? List them, if you can.
I'll list what I've got later on, but I believe I currently have eleven straight razors. I also have one of the straights that takes halves of DE blades and two corn knife-like razors.
Amazing how they accumulated so quickly. I'm sure there will be many more to come.

Thanked: 0I own three at the moment. I bought them all very cheap on ebay, and they were pretty rusty. I sanded them down, polished them and used them to practice honing. I now get pretty good shaves from them, so I don't plan on buying more right now.

About 10, a few fixer upers, I don't count. I rotate 4-6 usually in my routine. The others just sit and gather dust.

I have about 70+ that are shave ready, about a dozen that need to be cleaned and honed, probably another dozen that are beyond redemption laying around, and more on the way. I usually have 14 in my rotation at any one time. Yes, i know I'm in need of the 12 step program, but you can't help some one unless they want help.lol

Also afflicted...
I have 10 in my regular rotation, a couple of shave ready that I'm trying to decide whether or not to sell, about a dozen that only need honed/cleaned, another dozen or so that need major rust removal or scale replacement, oh yeah, and 7 more on the way.
Yes, it's a sickness.
