The "Adams family" made in the 90's I think. Was watching it today with my kids. Uncle Fester is getting a head shave, with what appears to be a Feather? Maybe not a straight technically but....

I just started watching the TV show Mr. Selfridges which is about the founding of the London department store. Although the main character is bearded, he gets a trim in episode two with a chopper and a splash of 4711.

Undercover boss on TV the other evening. Boss of a chain of beauty salons, etc posing as a newbe and faced with having to give a partially bearded man a facial trim with a shavette. Actually did a half decent job.

1936 "After the Thin Man" as Nora Charles (Myrna Loy) bursts into the bathroon of an overnight train car; her husband Nick (William Powell) is tossed backwards. She asks, "What are you doing?" He replies, "Oh nothing. Just practicing. Want a slice of throat?"

Leaving the train station they pass a fancy older couple who greets Nora by name. Nick asks, "Who are they, darling?" She replies, "Oh... you wouldn't know them, dear. They're respectable."
"We'll talk, if you like. I'll tell you right out, I am a man who likes talking to a man who likes to talk."

Lights of New York has a plot that somewhat centers around a barbershop but there is no actual shaving going on.

I'm not sure if anyone posted but I'm sitting here watching Expendables 3, yes yes it is rediculous, and Wesley Snipes' starts to dry shave his face with an overtly large bowie knife...in a cargo plane! It cuts away to the cabin where Stallone/Statham are talking. Low and behold Snipes walks up not 30 seconds later with a dang BBS shave. That may not technically be a straight razor shave but it was possibly one of the most unbelievable scenes in that movie.

1936, Robert Donat, "The Count of Monte Cristo". Rescued from the sea after escaping prison, shaves off his long, long beard in three swipes of a straight razor!. At least he was holding the razor correctly.
