I voted 400 yesterday because that's what you said you were going to do and that's what I expected. After reading some of the posts and thinking about it I realise that there are some guys with fewer than that who have given excellent information here, but maybe don't have all the spare time some of us do to spend in the Forums, so if post number is still the primary requisite I'd change my vote (if I could (Joe?)) to 300 to include them too. Or just stick those extra guys in the mix as you see fit.

to tell you the truth, I don't even understand why post count is the deciding factor here.

It's Bill's razor to give to whomever he wants, so by the same logic he should be able to put anybody he wants on the list who deserves it for whatever reason, be it post count, or because their avatar is funny.

Because at the time I believe Bill's intention was to reward long time contributors and possibly inspire newer members to become more active. (I'm not trying to speak for Bill, that was just my interpretation of the original post)

    woohoo!I hit 1.00 posts/day average today
as much as I love bills Razor I am not going to enter the drawing/contest. I think he wants the gift of his razor to be an award for contribiting to the knowledge and community of SRP and not because I was able to rack up a high post average.

Whoever wins this beautiful thing needs to treasure it! and also let us know how it shaves

I think Bill should stay at 400.....The razor is his to do with as he pleases....

I've been here a few months, but mainly reading to learn all I can. I have a great
big stubborn streak, and tend to dig deep into something when I want to learn
and not short-cut by saying "How do you do This?", or "Why this, and not this?..."

The search feature gives me a chance to find out many answers to common
questions a newbie has, even though there are as many answers to questions
as hairs on my head (not really that many). Anyway, when the same answers
come up to the questions that have been asked 28 times in 15 different ways,
I figure that's one to put in my memory banks. Once the memory bank is full,
and I get the shave down, THEN I start asking about how to restore.....

Anyway, great looking razor Bill! Good luck, and great shaves to whoever get it!

Hey.....I just made my 6th post!!!! only 396 to go!!!!
