Shavette? Nonsense, the blades are all fixed and permanent.

I have doubts. They don't even know that insulting people and calling the things they love "crude" is no way to do business. Rather than forming a negative opinion and then testing tons of straights they should have consulted people that love straight razors and asked why they love them. There is no telling what Gillette has decided the positive points of wet shaving are. They could be on the right track or they could be on a train going nowhere.

I'm going to wait until people I consider experts--the members of SRP--evaluate their product before I believe their PR.

    bigspendur,

That news you received from Gillette sounds great.

BTW...I have a bridge in Brooklyn that's in great shape. Well-constructed and stood the test of time. An engineering marvel as well as an aesthetic and community treasure.

Would you like to buy it? It's on sale.

    Please respond asap.

    Thanks!

Worse, there's no lubrication strip on the spine. How will I keep my skin moisturized? Worse, how will I know when to change blades? This is terrifying news!

Got to admit I was taken in for a bit there, and really felt sick reading about all those melted cut-throats. Thankfully, as I read furthur I realised you were just spinning a yarn. A really sick, demented yarn...B@stard!

    I called
    Mr. Peter K. Hoffman
Vice President and President - Global Business Management - Blades and Razors
and asked what the back order time for one
of these razors and he mumbled something
along the lines "When H*(( freezes over".

But Hackensack NJ does freeze over...
