Maybe I am fortunate. My g/f uses a Lady Gillette (blue handle), and several of the creams and soaps I have sent her. She thinks the straight shaving thing is cool, downright sexy! Unfortunately, we are a number of hours apart at this time. I've got to solve that problem!

The trick is: make her feel she's in command while you take the really important decisions.

So you might try something like this, by no means give up the box she has allocated for you. Never give up what you already have without gaining something else in return. Store what items you use infrequently in the shoe box and request a spot where you can keep (display) the shave gear you use on a daily basis.
Use the fact that you need to keep your razor out of confined spaces to prevent rust; razors are delicate works of art after all and need to be properly cared for. Along with the other shave gear you have. If you keep your shave brush in that shoe box it might start smelling like a dead cat so it needs room to breathe.
Cheers!

You know Josh Cs is right pick your battles. As long as she doesn't throw your shaving stuff out who cares. Also if its in a box it will be easier to get when she throws you out.... Just kidding. Smile..

Well I am back in her good graces and back for over a week from travelling...although I was considering a job with the DOD at the Pentagon that would keep me from travelling at all, she was not happy. I got her a personal tour of the pentagon while I was deciding...she did enjoy that. In the end I told them that they would have to pay me quite a bit (over their limit) to get me to live anywhere near DC, MD, or VA within radius of the area. Anyway I will continue to contract for them when required...but boy was my wife happy that I didnt take the job, and even though I love the work I just dont want to live in that area, besides I love to travel.
It was the DOD's idea to give her a tour I told them how upset she was that I didnt come home for two weeks lol, they told me to get her down there and they would make it up to her, and sure enough they did.
On the bad side the one person I really wanted to meet (Peter Pace) I didnt get the chance to see...hopefully next time.
Anyway, she saw my new razor from papabull, and she just smiled and pinched my cheek and left me alone in the bathroom...so I must be doing something right??? I just wish I could figure out what it was, and when I did it!
OH...and BTW, she finally stopped bothering me about the details of my work when I showed her the extremely long non-disclosure agreement between the USA and myself. She read part about treason espionage acts and hasnt said a word since . I love that piece of paper lol
