Thanked: 5By the way, Andrew, I love this brush that I got from you!
It has tons of backbone, but retains lots of water. Exactly what I need!
Looking exceptionally gorgeous is a bonus. 👍

Thanked: 2284I believe that one was a 28mm finest 2 band. Maple burl, turned to look sorta like a chubby brush.
This one. ^^^.
I'd love to see it In full bloom Val. Post a pic when you have some spare time away from those BIG Sheffields you do so beautifully.Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

Thanked: 5Kyle, Andrew makes some really high quality brushes!
This chubby is one of my top 3, and I have LOTS of great brushes.
His prices are very fair, too.
And needless to say, he's an absolute pleasure to deal with.

The one in your brush looks like it's a TGN finest/two band...wow 28mm eh? And here I thought my 24mm was too big lol
I downsized when I made my brush and used a 20mm TGN silvertip grade A. It performs really well...I really like how it lathers both soaps and creams, low loft brushes are my friend haha
I like the one harrywally did in african blackwood quite a bit...I actually really like the shape...might borrow the design if I ever get around to using the neighbour's lathe haha
