If I'm back in the area then I'll attend. I learned a lot at the Yakima meet in 2013.

I really enjoyed going to Yakima. I think I'd have even more fun at my next meet because I now know what to ask and maybe be able to spend more time. Centralia sounds interesting, about the same distance for me. Heck, once I get over six hundred miles, a few more this way or that doesn't really matter too much!

Thanked: 4I couldn't make it to Yakima this year. Just had sinus surgery and tonsillectomy so was home recovering. I hope it was a great success for all who could make it. I'm located up in Everett, WA and would prefer a Seattle destination before Portland but with the distances I see some of you driving, I won't be complaining either way.

This meet is going to be in the fall (September or October). I apologize for not advancing this further recently, dealing with my dad being in the hospital ATM. Randydance has helped me by pulling a list of names from WA,OR, and ID. I should have more information in the coming month so we can start nailing down the details. I figure the earlier I figure it out, the easier it is for people to plan for.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Thanked: 0I'm sorry about your father. I hope things go well.
I'm not able to travel much, but having a two month notice would make it a lot more possible. But life throes things in the way and family should take priority. Thank you for putting in all the work for this.

Thanked: 4I was thinking of possible locations that would work well for a meet and still have plenty of activities for sig others. The Silver Cloud Hotel by University Village Shopping Center would be a good choice. They have different size meeting rooms and the location is perfect for restaurants and lots of shopping, (all within walking distance). Downtown Seattle is 10 - 15 minutes away for other tourist type stuff, let alone the surrounding area. Let me know if this sounds good and we can develop it more, (I'll contact the hotel if requested). take care, G

Thanked: 52MattCB thank you for asking for our input I was one week in when I got to attend the Yakima meet and it was great. If you are thinking about the inbetween Portland and Seattle why not the Cabela's store in Olympia, right off the freeway and plenty of reasonable lodging nearby. Let me know if I can help if you need info about that venue. My vote time wise would be Nov 1 most hunting and fishing trips are over by then and xmas shopping for the ladies if they come along. Thanx again let me know if I can help. Frank C
