To be honest, I had assumed we would only be able to pull off one day. That being said if we do an "official" meet on Sat. I don't see any reason people can't set up a long brunch the next day. May be a good idea if it turns into a late night the first night

Official Date and Time... Sat, Sept 13th at Fados in Seattle
Unless I got a frantic phone call before I call and place the reservation in the morning, the meet is being scheduled at Event space in seattle at Fado Irish Pub in Seattle, WA on Sat, Sept 13th at 11am. (I plan on needing a day to recover )There is NO cover charge, NO minimum required to be purchased, or anything like that.
I really hope to see you all there. I will place this in the events calendar as well once the reservation is confirmed. On a side note, I am looking for a bit of help from some people who have a stronger presence in some of the other shaving communiites than I do. While we here at SRP are planning this meet, I would really like to see who we can pull in from some of the other wet shaving communities. Shoot me a PM if you would be interested in helping.

Thanked: 4Hi Matt,
Is there going to be a chance to have demos on shaving? I'm trying to envision what we will be able to cover along with all of the questions us newbies ask. Do you want any help contacting local merchants. The only place I know of is Art of Shaving. I don't know if they want to play but I'd call them if you'd like me to. I can ask them about participating with demos of AoS merchandise, possible "gifts" or maybe a raffle item. Let me know what you think and thanks for taking care of all of this!

G,
I have lined up donations from 5 vendors so far. Brushes, shaving cream, honing learning razors, and more. While I don't think we will have a sink to use, I don't see any issue with using some hot towels and up. The up to date thread for the meet is here:

I have not contacted AoS a of yet. I don't mind anyone wanting to donate items to give away, but I am pretty sure that most of the experienced people coming will know a lot more than an AoS employee. The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
