Greater Pacific Northwest meet-up location
Please indicate EACH of the areas you would be willing/able to travel to for a meet-up. I plan on leaving this going for a good month (or more) so everyone has a chance to put their input into it.

Thanked: 13245I am still good with either Seattle or Portland...
The middle area I don't really know about and won't be of much interest to the Wife
October is out for me, September is fine.. November is pushing against the weather but early November might be ok

The Centralia area would be less costly but like gssixgun observed not much of interest for the Wife possibly.

Agreed about the Centralia area, just trying to throw all of the options out there. I have no time frame established as of yet, besides late fall.

Centralia or Seattle would work for me.
Sometimes I question my sanity, occasionally it replies.

Seattle/Portland are about the same distance for me so either way... Anyone have inside knowledge of "happenings" thst time of year which would make one preferable over the other?
If someone had a connection for a Meet location that might help make the decision easier. Or, is there a way that we can tell from SRP whether Seattle area/Portland area have more registered Members? Go with the higher number hoping for greater participation. ??

I'm not sure if I can attend, but if I can, Seattle would be my first choice.

Being totally new to SR and all, what do you all like to do for one of these get togethers? What kind of things are spouses and partners looking to do? What is it like for those that travel a ways? One day drive, one day get together, one drive home?

I attended my first one last year in spokane and yes, it was a day to get there, one day for event, drove back next day. Had a good time and left the wife with the kids though. I would assume the spouses/partners would like to be able to go out to eat at a nice spot or see the attractions/shopping.
As far as the get togethers, lots of honing talk, comparison of razors and BSing. Hoping to get a few people to demonstrate some more honing / restoration things. I am planning on bringing my reference material for people to look at if they want to find some info. The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
