Just dropping by to post this here for maximum exposure...

Seems like the Yakima Meet was just a couple weeks ago and here we are almost in July with Fall Meet plans in full swing... Man, time flies!!!!

Just an update for everyone. Per the poll results, it looks like the meet is going to be in Seattle. I have a listing of 6 or so places I have narrowed it down to. Going to start calling people to see what they have for terms and all of that fun stuff.

The meet is planned for the fall time frame and is looking to happen in September. I am throwing out a tentative date of the weeknd of Septemeber 13th. Let me know what you think.

Once the date and venue are set, I plan sharing this on the other wet shaving forums so we can see how big of a group we can get. If you are active in any of theother forums/groups and would be interested in helping spread the word, please shoot me a PM. I am a member of most of the other forums, but am pretty much a lurker everywhere but here.

SRP Facebookers Group is pretty active... Definitely post there or I can once the details are set... May be redundant but there may be some who are more active there than here. ??

Alright everybody, listen up. Here is what is shaping up. Shooting for the weekend of September 13th. Looks like I can get us a private room at Fado Irish Pub with no reservation cost or group minimum. We need to narrow down which day and the time this is happening.

Friday the 12th is a Mariners game, so can only have a room until 3pm.
Saturday the 13th
Sunday the 14th

I really would like to get peoples opinions, but If needed will make a call and stick with it. I would like to make the reservation by Mon July 14th. I am personally leaning torward the 13th of 14th, but am willing to be persuaded.

I am really looking forward to seeing you all, so make sure and pass the word!

The 13th or 14th will work for me. I'll be driving up from south of Tacoma for the day or days. I would recommend staying away from the 12th for the Mariners game will clog the by-ways and establishments. And there is a lot of road work being done around Seattle on the weekends this summer so be prepared for delays and re-routs.

Really looking forward to meeting everyone and the libations menu Fado is killer.

For a total FNG what kind of agenda are we looking at.

I have only attended one before but it entailed lots of question and answer, good food, some demonstrations and showing off of gear. I plan on bringing what reference material I have accumulated, some razors, hones, and strops. I have heard of people bringing items to trade as well, and see no issue with that personally. If you have a camera please feel free to bring it. If anyone has a video camera that would be awesome. I think we could get some good video to put up on the site.

I am good for both Sat and Sun but if we are only doing 1 day of actual meet then I would rather do Sun,,, But I don't mind either way
