Thread: Iowa meetup 2016 questions!

Alright peeps so this is just a pre meetup post ...

I would like to ask what months would be the most convenient for everyone for an iowa meetup for 2016....

Location will be humboldt iowa again....
Obviously everyone will be welcome

Any other questions about this meetup can be placed here as well .....

I know the first meetup I hosted did not have enough time before to let everyone plan to travel so starting early this time!

I'm hoping that by doing this we can maximize the amount of people able to attend next year!

I'd say it is best if it is sometime in the summer. We have to have two dates to account for possible bad weather

Ok April or May would be best for me

June is not possible

I can do it other months if it's best for more people though

May sounds nice. April showers and all...

I honestly cannot plan that far ahead, but I tend to prioritize meet-ups so I will figure out a way to go regardless of when it happens.

May works for me.

I have drill 13-15 may so that weekend is out but anything else works for me

I sent out a few pm's to some of the people who showed up and/or expressed interest in showing up last time.

Since I am retired I have lots of open time!
I will agree to what the group decides.

Are you open to another location such as Des Moines ? at Howard Clarks sword/razor/knife/ blacksmith workshop? He expressed an interest in having a razor meet. It is a pretty cool place to have razor meet.

I am open to that , it will be awesome to see Howard's shop and do some cool things in it.
