This is the first meetup of hopefully many. As such I have not planned much. I kind of just intended this first meeting to be an introduction and getting to know each other type meeting. Sitting around, having a few drinks, and just chatting it up and possibly figure out what we want to do in the future.

But I fully expect it to evolve.

I'm not a honer, but if there are those who are that want to bring their stones and do a demonstration, I'm all for it. If anybody has anything they want to do, just let me know.

Side Pockets is a large Pool Hall with bar/kitchen. We've coordinated that there will be razors there, and I believe they have us in a room, so there should be plenty of table space for whatever we need.

This is a good location for such an event. Sidepockets is a nice facility. Unfortunately for me I work Saturdays and with such a short notice I can't get the day off. It would be 6pm by the time I got off work and could get to the event.

It's actually a good time of year for me, can't get outside yet to do any work. I'll be there and bring a few stones. Bring some of your Stealth fighter jock friends. he,he.

KJ, Thanks for the invite, baring an emergency I should be there. Had a great time at Ray's couple years ago and would love to re-connect with many. I think there's quite a few within traveling distance, hope several come. I'd be glad to give a demonstration that's rarely seen. Gas is cheap, time to drive!

I think Ray will try to be there as well. I know Sham is going to be there. I'm not sure how well the facility lends itself to honing demos. Still there will be lots to learn for any new members willing to show up.
