Thanked: 3795Charlie, I could bring my Bader if I have to. I'm getting tired up carrying it up and down the basement stairs. The problem is that it has a 220 motor and I know you only have that one outlet. I have another grinder that is home-made but it works and runs on 110.
If stands and power cords were brought along with additional grinders to allow even a couple outside, what would be the maximum number of grinders your wiring could handle? I'm not really looking for an exact amperage calculation, just a ballpark of what you think your back shop can handle?

Dents in my pickup bed are the least of my worries but something fun to tease Randy about. I could fit 4 grinders easily back there if there were no anvils.....
My experience last year was although the general idea is "planned". It is driven much by the participants. Honing, scale making, forging, or grinding. Anyone have a lathe for brush making?
Dang even the chance of winning that razor would be worth the trip in itself.
Charlie is a great host!
Dang it! I am either going to have to unsubscribe from this thread or get my ducks in a row and figure out a way to make it.

Thanked: 3795Because of you, I have gone through a few of those in the past year.
Randy told me he was going to order a 110.
YES! I hope that you can make it. I want to make sure that you are grinding before Bruno starts another demo!

Sounds like I might have to bring a bottle or two of some rum ( nice to have variety)
Btw, do I need to pick up any steel? I'd like to make something and help contribute instead of feeling like a mooch.

Thanked: 1936I will be bringing a atlas mini forge and grizzly 2×72 grinder (110 v) that has an 8 inch wheel. Good for stock removal. I will also bring a few hammers and tongs. I am thinking about making a big batch of taco soup one of the days.
Southeastern Oklahoma/Northeastern Texas helper. Please don't hesitate to contact me.
Thank you and God Bless, Scott
