My leather apron is about 4 years old and is getting a bit gnarly. My wife wanted to know if she could wash it. The answer was no.

Thanked: 995Gentlemen, due to changing work circumstances (the old you haven't been here long enough for vacation yet) and insensitivity to negotiating a planned break right after beginning work, I will not be able to attend this year. I had hopes of a different outcome until this morning. They are desperate for my services and a week will somehow bring their world to an end. It's probably bureaucratic functionaries.
On the other hand, I am moving back toward more rural environs and that's a bonus.
What is worse is that you all will engage in the fine tradition of talking bad about me cause I'm not there. Ah well, I knew what I was getting into. Hit the steel while it's hot, don't just talk about it. I'll miss you guys a little and I'm sorry Charlie and those of you I won't get to meet I haven't met before.“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power.” R.G.Ingersoll

Thanked: 1936Your ears are going to burn Mike, I will see to it! I hate it that you can't come, but we all understand that there are circumstances that are beyond our control. Get back rural & to manipulating steel...

Yes that is a big bummer.

Thanked: 995LOL on the belts. No worries.
The shop is located in a pretty cool blacksmiths-art metal colony in south Seattle. That is a favorable idea Randy.“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power.” R.G.Ingersoll

Thanked: 480Giving some thought to attending It would be a hell of a drive. So a serious question How many people in attendance before the limited equipment becomes a waiting line?
While I would love to meet all you guys, and have a chance to learn from so many skilled craftsman in a single location, it would be a bummer if I left feeling like I didnt get to do as much because of an over crowding situation
