Thanked: 3795I will chose not to take that personally!
Still, I would welcome an opportunity to participate in a meet-up with our B&B brethren.

I think inter-forum fights and bans are just silly. We all share the same interests and love the same things and we are far better off reaching out and connecting with each other
While I have been disinvited from participation at another shaving forum if I get invited to a local meeting it wouldn't really matter to me on which forum it is being organized.
Just like Utopian, and I think everybody else here, if I am able to I would go and hang out with the fine people there, have a great time and I'm sure I'll learn something new from them that I've missed.

I agree with the idea that people interested will show up and put their forum preferences aside. In reality all these forums are populated by the same people minus the few curmudgeons that spoil the soup. Open minded people will have the benefit of sharing a good experience and enrich themselves. Who knows these sort of meets are a good way to heal misconceptions about each others shaving clans and might bring some unity to the shaving universe hahaha maybe.
Don't drink and shave!

Thanked: 3795Initially, I was only "partially" banned for a very good reason. It was the same reason I was banned from another large forum. B & B offered me a chance to do a mea culpa post, which I was completely willing to do, but they completely banned me before I had a chance to do it.
I continued to attend meet-ups even though I was banned from two major forums. I felt very awkward but no one else seemed to care.
The meetups are organized through the forums but they have virtually nothing to do with the forums. It's just a bunch of guys who get together to help and learn from each other.
