Default Mild Mild West meetup (Kansas City)

    Hello all,

There seems to be some interest in having a meet-up in the midwest this summer. Since Kansas City tends to be a good middle-ground for the midwest, and it sounds like it's tradition, I thought I would offer to organize the event. I'm fairly new here, so I would be leaning on some more seasoned members to help me with meet-up specifics and activities.

Right now I am thinking the weekend of August 19th. If anyone has better suggestions please let me know.

If you would be interested in attending the meetup sometime later this summer, please reply! I would like to make sure we've got a critical mass of interested folks to make this happen.

    I'll come.

Tom, I would suggest that you simply throw up a date that works for you and see if it sticks.

Randydance may still be too laid up to be able to come but he is great about doing notifications about meet-ups to "local" members.

The eclipse path is just to the north of KC on the 21st, so people have another reason to go there. I'll be in Wyoming.

Too close to the Sturgis rally, won't have any gas left to make it back to K C. Tc

    Tom,
Ray, aka Walleyeman, hosted a meet-up at his place in KC and it was one of the best meet-ups I ever have attended (out of about 40). If he is offering to help, please take him up on it. Odds are good that the bagpiper appearing out of the fog won't be repeated, but we can dream!

Regardless, thank you for taking this on!

I'm in StL and might be interested in making the trip, depending upon whatever else ends up on my schedule. Of course, my wife and I just made the trip to KC back in June so she might have other travel plans in mind for us before making a return, particularly for me to spend a day with the rest of the razor fanatics.
