are we going to need grinders? I can bring mine that is 220 but I can make it 110. Not the fanciest but it would work. I have plenty of 72" belts to bring.

I am hoping to do some hands on work learning about grinding and getting some base knowledge of metallurgy and forging. So I am really hoping that there will be grinders there.

There will be a grinder or two or three. I was just asking if we needed one more.

I have found that these meets are not a pre planned lesson plan and they rely on the learner to bring up questions and what they want.

I would like someone to bring a piece of bone and demo what they do to carve and or scrimshaw.....

We always need more grinders. It's just a matter of placement and power. I believe 220 outlets are limited so 110 would be better. If we could rig up a large hamster wheel, that might help too.

In Texas wouldn't Armadillos be more available than Hamsters?

We may need a higher gear ratio then.............

I will be bringing my high speed hogging grinder that we keep over by the forging area, hammers, some cold chisels (Randy and I had talked about another project), some extra safety glasses, and some ear plugs. I have yet to repair my forge gas line on my big forge, but hope to get to it and bring it to the meet as well.
