Speaking on behalf of everyone else who would love to be there but just can't make it: take loads of pics and vids please!
spazola, sharptonn and Steel like this.

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

How wide is your 15n20 Victor? I will see what I have to match it.

Ha, it's in `6"+ wide sheets over a foot long. I've been ripping it to 1" wide which works well for my purposes. I would be looking for 1" x 1/8" 1095. I've got a note in to Randy to add a piece of that to his order.

I want to try a 13 layer stack, which will save me a drawing and tripling operation.

We can do the same as last year: after the initial welding, one of us uses the sledge. We could even do a 2 man sledge team
That would take care of the drawing in a jiffy

That works fine, but more often than not I'm working alone. Since I have the thin material a higher layer initial stack makes a lot more sense.

I know you were saying last year to not go over 7 layers when hand setting the welds but I'm pretty confident that this will work for me. Of course I'm only buying 1 piece of 1/8" 1095 until I have verified that it will work.
