Dave,
is there a good place to buy hardware that you know of? I never have shopped for them yet. I would like to learn how to make them and work with leather. I will buy some hardware for sure and bring along. I need to find out about where to get some leathers or hides too. Well I have some time. Research I guess. Look forward to learning alongside you. Thanks brother.

Dave you going to make me a BBQ fork and Knife? Charlie did!!!!!!!!
Obie Tom had his knees replaced at 102 years old and he can run back to back marathons with Halle Berry on his shoulders, while Fixing up his hot rod Alpha. oh lets not forget leaping over tall buildings in a single bound! Just kidding Tom, but you are surely a great example. I can only hope mine is even close,, but if it is can I borrow Halle for a while?“ I,m getting the impression that everyone thinks I have TIME to fix their bikes”

Thanked: 70TC, you're always rubbing my ass.
I'm not sure that my private messages are getting through to Dave. I'm wanting to go to his Fall meet and twice sent a request for directions and motel
recommendations but have gotten no answer. I know Dave is a polite and considerate man which makes me think I am fouling up in the sending. Any
hep to put me on the right path would be appreciated.

Thanked: 292Obie
My wife had her right knee replaced a couple of years ago. She was able to drive again in a couple of weeks; but getting in an out of the car was more difficult than driving. Since she had her right knee done, it was easier for her to drive than it was to get into the passenger side. She will have to have the left knee done within the next year.
The key to success is rehab exercises. You need someone who can serve as your "rehab Nazi"; I served that role for my wife. The "rehab Nazi" has make you do your exercises, even when your body is screaming "NO MORE!"
Try not to take any more pain meds than you have to, but don't suffer needlessly.
If you do the rehab like you should, you should be in fine shape in time for Dave's meetup. I hope to see you there.
