Thanked: 315You guys take a LOT of pictures for me. I want to see what all projects you guys do. Wish I could be there. Got plenty of stuff to work on and I really would love to make my own knives and razors eventually. And Charlie Lewis hosting!!

Thanked: 4827Charlie is hosting but technical support for me on my project last year was Scott, Victor, Andy, Charlie, Randy and maybe more. With their help we were able to make a pretty cool razor. Pete also completed a pretty cool razor. I also learned about doing regrinds thanks in part to Tom for supplying me with some deadbeats to revive. There were many busy people there. Tim actually forged a stack of blanks to finish at home. Victor was working on a razor, Bruno went crazy making pattern welded billets, Jamie made a knife and worked on a razor, TC made a ton of food BBQ and forge and rough ground a blade. Scott did some stuff, Charlie and Victor heat treated an anvil, Dave made scales and did regrinds. The amount of activity was pretty incredible. The whole place was like an anthill. There was also some great conversations, coffee drank, food eaten, laughs shared, and information exchanged.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

We are all very different people from many different walks of life.
We have something in common.
It is a very pleasant surprise to me that we all get together and have such a good time.

Thanked: 2209A whole bunch of trimmings.
Dave is sawing out 1 set of scales now.
Thats all we could get from those 2 bones.
Rezdog, you can give us some ideas on what the trimmings could be used for.Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin
