Does that mean you are willing to do the demo? I'm sure anybody who would like to would be applauded...seriously!

Sidney: a very wise man once said, in these hallowed portals that straight shaving is like meditation with extra adrenaline. In the spirit of the ongoing Games, why do we not make a competition of it? Points for speed style & smoothness?

I've been thinking about this.

I am certain i'm not the most experienced shaver at the meet but I do think its important to have some sort of shaving demonstration. And there will be some people there with less experience han me. So if you'd like i'll prepare a presentation and some things. Some videos and stuff most likely. If anyone more experienced has any input i'd love to hear it.

I'll work your act into the programme Sandy. I will update my first aid kit also

Before any of you Gents get any ideas I will not be doing a leg shaving demo! Thanks for all your hard work and effort Stephen.

The shaving demo sounds like a great idea. My technique is lousy and I will definitely benefit from watching a demo.

You could also incorporate the art of applying the styptic pencil to any little mishaps ...
I managed to nick myself on Saturday ( I was rushing things ) .,, over 3 years down the line as well - you'd think I'd learn !!! :-)

I would be happy to come to the meet unshaven & then have the rest of you hooligans take the mick out of my nonexistent technique.


PS I also have a first aid qualification, if any one passes out at the sight of blood
