Thread: UK get together!

Shame you can't make it Garry - would have been nice to have had another Ayrshire man on the scene.
The details have been drawn together and hopefully Dave 'the Web' Wessell will sort something out with a promo front page ad in the next couple of days. The prize list for the rafflfe is impressive I must say - should be a good bash with plenty to see and gain from the day.
Once it is up we can start a thread here with names of folk who are going to attend. The max the hall will take is 40 or so therefore we need to know to avoid disappointment and to dish out emailed 'invites' to carry as justification for being 'tooled up' on the streets of Birmingham! In fact no reason why the list should not start right now - I'll add the names of those who have already committed below mine then it's a case of copy and paste adding your name.

Since neither of our other Welsh members can make it to the UK gathering, would it be dreadfully nationalist of me to suggest a Welsh meet, maybe in a hostelry in Cardiff or Swansea or indeed at our place? Of course, any others would be more than welcome. It is just an idea in my demented little head.
BTW Have either of you read my post about the Eisteddfod in Silver's Global Lingo thread? I would be interested to know what you think

Steve, I was thinking of the comic book Blade. Not so loaded, or good looking, but with Loads of Sharp & Shinies & a serious attitude. Of course, yours is good & happy, his is just narky.
Yay! 200 posts!

Thanked: 84The Worlds First ever Welsh Straight Fete
I'm sure I could come to that.
Ref Eisteddfod, I'm sure the Gog's had their noses well and truly stuck in the air
You could always upset them and ask what part of Liverpool their from, that always goes down like a Porkpie in a Synagogue.
