Thanks Morturn - some useful info there.
In a short while we will collect all the relevant info and Dave Wessell is going to get it all together on the home page. I should add that Steve 'blueprinciple' has offered to try and get a Dovo rep to attend and to have some Dovo stock there with discount for members. He will also be showing us around the black art of honing - should be a good chance to share some knowledge as we are all pretty much out there on our own. Other details of the day including a restoration chat/demo should be happening and then there is the chance to ogle at each others razors! Will pull all this together for the home page splash very soon. Thanks again to Steve 'blueprinciple' who has offered to cover the facility costs - a generous gesture and much appreciated by me certainly! Perhaps we don't need to have an entrance fee now - perhaps a raffle with a top notch prize will be in order though. Lots more ideas and entertainment for the day in planning.
Thanks again and mark your diaries!
Stephen

Ok I'm back into the real world now ... I'll hopefully be able to see whats what later in the week , I'm very hopeful .
I've got one little concern , maybe if anyone is planning on flying you could help ?
How are you transporting razors stones - In checked Luggage ??
I'd be absolutely gutted if any of my razors or stones were to vanish en route ..
