If you're a history buff, check out the 6th Floor museum - it's downtown and is in the book depository where Oswald shot JFK. Worth a visit.

so if we do sherlocks again, is there really going to be enough light to see by? just curious. i should be able to drink again by that time, so i am looking forward to it.

John and I talked about that and he really felt that the lighting was adequate - so it's all his fault (he's the expert)! No really, I think it will be fine. We may want to crowd around the lower tables that are directly under the lights (there's a long line of them). It'll be great.

Thanked: 0First off...Howdy!! I'm a dfw newb, and would definately love to attend, if that's ok? Also the prospect of seeing a live honing demo sounds awesome. I'm not 100% sure that I could attend, I might have to work...it all depends on the weather. I'd love to meet and discuss newb questions face to face with some seasoned straight shavers.
