Cedar Hill? My aunt and uncle live in Cedar Hill! A pretty small area, they might know each other. It will be interesting to find out.

Also, Williams soap works great, (to clean my strops and brushes). I just wouldn't use it on my face.

good luck remember have right tools and patient if you wont get there bring it to the meeting we will be glad make them shave ready for you. Don't bring a lot then fight will start

who will hone first.
is your wedge shaves ok?

One that's giving me fits is the Ebro Wostenholm. It's flat on one side and 1/4 hollow on the other. I don't have a clue if I tape the flat side and leave the hollow without tape--argh frustrating:-)

We'll all bring our favorite hones, and then pass them off to Lynn so he can show us how to use them!

I am the new guy Sham is talking about. I won't be able to make the MidMo Meet because I have to be in Branson that week, but I look forward to learning more about straight razor shaving through this site.
