Well, I think one sign of having too many hones is that I seem to have mis-placed two boxes of barber hones down in my basement. I still have quite a few on hand but I wanted to go through them all to bring a good representative sample. I gotta get organized and find those boxes!

Looks like we will have enough stone to make a small pyramid. Three weeks to go and every thing is looking good. I got a PM from randydance062449 with interest to come so we will have one more to add to the list. It will be great to have Randy's experience at the meet. Here is a link to Motel's in the area in case some wish accommodations. motel fulton missouri - Google Maps Kingdom City is just north of Fulton and right on Interstate 70 and has 4 different Motels [Motel 6, Super8, etc]. i have just ordered turkey oil stone . if stone gets on time here i will bring it too.

I just thought of an idea for the Meetup. I want everyone to bring a [New] Shaving Soap with them to exchange for another one much like you would exchange Christmas gifts. No Williams please. Don't bring one that you have used in the shower Mike . We could find one that we haven't tried yet. I have a couple to put in the basket to start with. If you don't have any extra soap or don't want to participate that's OK. It is a strictly voluntary activity. What do you all think?

Two weeks to go guys. I can't wait. I have been trying to get things ready on this end. With the rain every other day it's been a struggle trying to get the grass mowed. I've been working on a new soap shelf display for the shave den and will be ready by meetup day. I won't show it on here until after meetup day so you guys can be the first to see it.

Randydance062449 will have his friend Bill Huff from Cedar Hill, Missouri join us for the meet. He has been a straight razor shaver for 30 years and it will be good to here from him about his experience.

We have not had any cancellations yet so the turnout should be good. I still hope everyone can make it.
