Thanked: 993May 28th for me.
Most of my school stuff will be done by that weekend. I teach primary grades, and our school concert is the middle of may, so I'll be busy the first half of the month.

10 people so far and we have only had it posted for 3 days. This is looking to be a good turn out.
As far as the date of May 28th it works for me.

Thanked: 993Oh man....we're bustin out the scotch already! Alright then, twist my rubber arm.
Now...I've never been to a meet before. When we're all together, is there stuff that people want to see? I figure we'll probably bring a bunch of razors, strops, hones, and stuff. Would anyone want/like to volunteer to do a honing demo, or anything like that? A brief resto chat...?
Just throwing out ideas.

Oh yeah if we need to bring stuff I have two buffers one is only good for scales though and a vibratory tumbler. I have most likely the same hones everyone else has but can bring them as well.

Looks like this will be a pretty successful meet.
Unfortunately I'll be away for my cousins wedding that weekend but no need to try to plan around me.
Also if any newbies in the area are on the fence abiut coming I think this would be a great experience for you guys. Most if not all the members who have replied to this forum topic so far are experienced members that could give alot of help to the newer users.
As for what the meet will be like I think it depends on the location. I mean if it's at a restaurant or something along those lines it would be hard to break out the whiskey and hones and razors without getting a few looks or comments.Shaving_story on Instagram

Thanked: 993I'll start looking around the city for a place to host. I have no idea what's around, so I'll put out some feelers this week.
I think we'll definitely need some hones. I'll bring what I've got.
