Thanked: 3795Still coming!
I haven't been on the forum lately due to various complications, but things are starting to settle a little and I still intend to make the 300 mile drive tomorrow night. Like Randy, I'll be spending Friday and Saturday night there.
I'll be bringing my microscope, as previously mentioned. I'll also bring a set of hones, some representative barber hones, a few boxes of razors, and whatever restoration stuff I can dig out.

Thanked: 0Hey all! Im pumped but unfortunetly/ fortunetly I finally got a job after some months and can only be there for morning and early afternoon. Im working the late, late shift. But Ill bring what little I have! Anyone bringing an inexpensive wedge for sale or trade? All i have is hollow and like any good capitalist I always try to diversify!

Thanked: 3795I'll be leaving some time after 6 tonight and will get there some time after midnight. I haven't called the Best Western yet but it's on my list for today. After I get home from work (yes I am finally employed again) I will throw things into the car and head East.

I'm still planning on attending. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone! I'll bring a case of regular soda, a case of diet soda. I'll also have a few soaps and aftershaves to donate as giveaways.
Unfortunately, I cannot stay for the whole event. I have a band coming into the studio for a late-night overdub session and for some reason they want an engineer! I'll probably have to scoot out around 3:30 or so. See y'all tomorrow!

Thanked: 21Ok we are set I Confirmed the reservation for the conference room. Officially the room will be set for 9 a.m. But I am sure it is available before that if any one arrives early. I am planning to be there at 8 a.m. to make sure all is good.
For the guys staying there I hear they have a decent breakfast from what the reviews showed.
I am leaving right now to get sloppy joe fixins and the name tag holders. I also have a bottle of bourbon that I am not fond of so if anyone could help me in disposing of it I would be happy. Its American Honey kinda syrupy but I am no liquor expert so others will prolly like it. Can't wait to see everyone!

Thanked: 3795I made it!
I'm in room 228.
I'll be in the gym at 6 and will be down for breakfast at about 8 if anyone else will be around then. I'll bring my toys into the room after that. I could not find a full complement of restoration and pinning stuff during my rush to load the car fast, so please, if anyone else can bring those supplies tomorrow that would really help. I've never been to one of these meetups where no one needed at least a pin tightened, so it would be great if someone could bring a jeweler's hammer and anvil.

Funny you should mention that. I was shaving last night with my wedge, thinking to myself about how it's gotten loose over the past year and wondering if anyone would be tightening pins today.
