Did you realize we had our meet up the same day as the National Straight Razor get together in Cinncinnati? Very enjoyable, gorgeous day, a lot of good information and good people. I think we got a lot of attention from the waitresses and people at other tables. Very cool.

Not only did I NOT know that our get-together was on the same day as the National Straight Razor confab, I didn't even know there WAS a National Straight Razor confab! But even if I had known, I think I'd rather be in Durm than in Cincinnati. We did indeed have a good time. Looking forward to seeing everybody again!

Aarrggg!!! Wish I would have noticed this thread sooner. Im back and forth between Raleigh and Greenville, as my parents live in Raleigh and I go to ECU. Im pretty new to the straight shaving crowd and so far have only shaved with my razor once. Its kinda hard to practice then not come in to class looking like a cat attacked my face haha. Ill try to keep up with the forum more often and hopefully another meeting will be scheduled.

Let us know and we will get another meetup next time you are in town with one or the four or five of us, so far. It takes a lot of shaves to get past the nicks.

I travel back east to rtp once a month to every other month. If you set up a date please pm me.
