We got together at Tyler's in Pittsboro to talk, show our razors and to hone. A Gold Dollar was honed. I re-honed/touched up 3 traditional kamisori (after messing up Glen Mercurio's edges) with a fast coticle. Members from Winston-Salem, Baxter, Cary, James, Raleigh, Jerry, Pittsboro, Joe, Chapel Hill, Richard and Durham, myself, Robert. A nice barber's box, a nice wooden cigar box for razors, cloths rollup cases, hones, good food, talk about shag dancing and the lindy hop.

Some new razors, Joe and Baxter are trying out. The end photo is of the top of the lid of the cigar box razor storage.
I've been trying out my new 40mm "macro" pancake lens this week and really love what I am able to do with it. Next stop will be the 100mm macro lens, a true 1:1 lens. The light in this room is terrific. Glass filing up 3 sides of the room, 2 viewing the outside.

As soon my gokumyo 20k gets here I might have to come to one of these get togethers. I'm in central VA, so it's not too bad of a drive. I'm positive I'll be the youngest guy there!

Lately, we've been meeting up at Tyler's Bar and Restaurant just north of Pittsboro, so south of Chapel Hill.

We have people coming from Asheville and Winston Salem. I don't think we'll be having a meeting in Greensboro. You'll have to start a group there or hitch a ride with the guy from Winston Salem to come our way.
