Thanked: 237Yea you beat me, I'm 25. I was hoping to be able to come down but my school schedule is killing me this semester. Maybe we can arrange something between March 8-14?? I'll be on spring break and could definitely make time for a meet. I have the gokumyo 20k, and it's quite nice.

Thanked: 237The only place I know of that sells the 20k is toolsfromjapan. I have heard that the 30 is not worth the money. For most steels, it creates too fine of an edge that is either uncomfortable to shave with, and can cause micro chipping. The 20k is sharp and smooth, not quite as smooth as a good jnat, but much quicker.

I know what a 12K feels like to the touch and results on a razor.....I could not imagine a 30K!!!! But then again, maybe the razor just looks at a whisker and it jumps from the face!!!!
