I got the invite from Joe. Can't wait to come and start learning honing and stropping. I have yet to invest in honing stones since I have no idea how to properly do this. I feel okay with stropping but more than likely will get great pointers and how to on that as well.

Look forward to seeing when the next meet is!

I woukd like to say a big THANK YOU to Joe and Richard for educating me today and getting my Dovo back up to par! Two of the best most friendly knowledgable men I could have spoke to and met up with. Joe and Richard are true gentleman and very glad I could meet them both finally.

Thank you again and look forward to when we meet again. I owe these men a cold beer for sure at the very least!

I'm glad you met Joe and Richard. That are good guys. Joe will plan our next get together. We've had our last two in a great room at Tyler's in Pittsboro, just south of Chapel Hill.

Joe and Richard.............just shaved with the Dovo and all I can say is WOW! The closes shave to date with no irritation. The razor glided over the lather rather than my face and very close! Not BBS but best shave yet. I utilized the angle techniques and skin stretching you both gave me and once again............WOW! Still have to get the technique down but can I say WOW once more. I used the MWF soap again and I don't know if it is also the lanolin that is helping too with non-irritation but it is coming together for a beginner!

I also ordered some Proraso in the white container which is for sensitive skin with green tea and oats to try first then I will progress if I like it too with some of the other flavors as I say too. But I can tell you that MWF soap will be a steady diet on hand for sure.

Once again a big shout out to Joe and Richard for taking the time out of their day to sit a few hours with a complete newbie in this hobby! I see an addiction developing and maybe second mortgage of home to finance a new hobby < well just kidding but you know what I mean.

To the folks that have yet to meet Joe and Richard all I can say is bring a pad and pen and take notes...........I am the next meet so I can absorb just a fraction of their razor knowledge! Joe you are a genius with that stone!
