RIP Dave.
My heart goes out to his little boys who he was so proud of. This is a terrible thing for them, and then for it to be at this time of year. Dave and i chatted many times, he helped me to understand what real coffee was about. He pasted on the job of being the giveaway guy to me and i will do my best for him. He will be missed. It's just Sharpening, right?

I was fortunate to have corresponded with Dave. I miss his comments and contributions.
I feel sad for his wife and family and wish their grief could be lightened.

One of the good guys! Corresponded with Dave a few times and it was always pleasant. I was very shocked to hear this news! Deepest sympathy to his family!

It is indeed a terrible loss, for us and even more for his family.
Dave was such an optimistic and upbeat person - every time we communicated I felt so uplifted afterwards!
He was also the first to volunteer with whatever need arose - the giveaways, Movember, anything! And he was just as generous in his day-to-day life - he loved to help anyone he met and particularly veterans - he made bbq on a regular basis!
Above all he loved his kids immensely!
I didn't know Dave all that well, but every little piece I saw was precious.
RIP Dave, we all miss you.

Thanked: 580Such sad news.
It showed how much he cared for and loved those boys.
Hope they get the support they will need from such a big loss.

what a shock, never got to meet him but felt like i almost knew him. Always surprising when someone close to your own age passes on. His family will be in my prayers.
