    Very sad news to hear.

Terrible loss of a true gentleman.
RIP Dave. It was pleasure to know you through the forum.

This is incredibly sad news. My condolences for his family.

I also only knew him through his posts here and a bit of correspondence, but his warm personality shone through.

Very sad news indeed, Dave was a true gentleman, I talked with him a few times by phone and got to know him a little better, he will be missed by all here

    Rest easy my friend

I had no idea-just now seeing this. What a blow to our community. I talked with him via pm a few times, and as a mentor, but didn't really know him beyond that. As a fellow father of two (now grown) sons, I can't imagine what a blow it must be to the whole family to lose their Dad so young. Rest in Peace friend.
