Thanked: 98EKretz, your post just makes for common sense, a good lesson on slurry and stone.

Thanked: 0Sorry to raise this topic from the dead, but where could I get Vermio stone?
I searched on internet without success, seems very tricky to get it outside Greece.
Thanks!

Thanked: 561I feel fortunate to have been able to purchase my Vermio from Griffiths a few years ago. Since then, they seem to have disappeared completely from the most common internet-based sources, but occasionally show up on eBay.
I assume this is because the source is a private land owner and the stones, while not well known, are appreciated as very good finishers by those who have them.
Good luck in your search.David
