I reckon the only way to gain speed is to slow down, Aaron. If just for a while!

Thanked: 46Maybe I didn't explain myself, I don't mean you need 10 honing sessions to get it to shave, I mean one session and its ready thus the 15 min time it might take me. I doub't anyone here does a better job in less time, I have read millions of times the best way to hone and what not and tried them all. The best way to do it is a dmt course and coti period. I have never had any problems with chips, nor do my razors or those of the people I have honed for. So say all you guys want I doubt you can do a better job in less time.

OH! no misunderstandings! We are constantly dusting our junky-asses off, but as hard as we may try, we cannot meet YOUR standards! So I assume!
Get it on! Have Fun!

Thanked: 46The thing is this isn't a how do you achieve a superb edge in less time, unless I misread the title of the post, the idea here is how to get the fastest progression possible. So unless someone here can do two swipes and have a shave ready hone there just isn't any other way I have found that gets the same results as a dmt c to coti.
