Thanked: 286I,ve watched mastro livi progression yes it quik . I,ve tried Lynn's circle process on the naniwas that to me is very quik and effective . As time has gone by I,ve tried simplifying razor honing . 3 k naniwas to set the bevel and straight to water on the coticule which is more or less what livi does, I,ve watched videos of mastro livi going from 3 k to crhronium oxide now that's quik.

Thanked: 66You asked about speed of progression, without mentioning budget or any other factors so I will answer based on that only.
It is well known the Chosera stones cut very fast, if not the fastest. I use a Chosera 1k, Chosera 3k, Snow White Original 8k (Which is really a Chosera 8k), SS12, GS20 You can't get much faster than that, depending on the sharpie test which I do when I first start I sometimes start with the Chosera 3k. The 1k through 8k is the slowest part of the progression, and gets faster as you move up. So getting fast cutting stones at those lower levels is important.

So you want speed huh ?
Talking edge restoring not honing I gather ?
Diamond plates will do the speed aspect but you will lose time trying to fix the deep scratches later. Catch 22.
One of the fastest synthetics I've used is the Shapton Pro/Ha No Kuromaku line especially on slurry. Like diamond plates they can be pretty scratchy on razors in the coarse grits. 320-1000 grit
It may be better to compromise that extreme cutting speed for a more razor friendly stone.
i'm very impressed with the Chocera line in that regard but can only speak re the 1k & 5k as yet. The 1k doesn't have the Pro's speed but the razor doesn't need so much "healing" afterwards.
I'd like to try the coarser Chocera grits. If they work as I expect I could easily see myself retiring my Shaptons to knife work. The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 66The screenshot you provided was not the Chosera line, those are the SuperStone line in the screenshot.
Chosera are now known as the Naniwa Professional series.
This is what it would cost for the Chosera 1k,3k and Original Snow White 8k, its a bit steep in price but you did ask about fastest speed, this would be about as fast as you can get on a known and proven progression, although Euclid's progression of using the Nubatama Ume 1k,Naniwia Green Brick 2k, and the Snow White would probably be great as well.

Thanked: 3215That should work, nicely. The 8k is very aggressive and should make the jump without a problem, just make sure to remove the deep 1k stria with the 3.
That 8k edge is very shaveable, add some good Chrome Oxide or .50 CBN and you are golden.
