Any thoughts on the new "La Lune"?
The reintroduced La Lune's have been out for awhile but I haven't seen any mention... I was curious if anyone got their hands on one and had any thoughts.
HAD is a b****. Still regretting not ordering an Apache Strata when I had the chance...

Gosh darn it, somebody buy one already!
I will probably get one mid to late June, after I arrive in Japan.

"La Lune," just delivered
Hi. I'm Paul, and I have H.A.D.
I ordered a "La Lune" stone from the website (www.1stone.fr/categorie-produit/pierres-1stone/)
on April 12th.
It was shipped from France (via La Poste Francais) on April 14th.
It arrived here today (May 1st), via USPS, all in good order.
Opened parcel - newspaper and bubble wrap packing
Attachment 331936
Nicely wrapped with tissue paper and twine
Cute little seal
Attachment 331937
The stone and rubbing stone
Attachment 331938
Dry stone
Attachment 331942
Wet with water
A brownish slurry, made with the rubbing stone, in about 10 seconds
The color of the stone in the photos is not quite true. It has a purplish hue, and very much
resembles a 3-line Swatty. The working surface is very smooth, but there are some very faint
saw marks. It feels perfectly smooth, but it could perhaps use a bit of burnishing...or maybe
just a bit of use.
We'll see how it hones.
Question: What should I use to seal the trademark emblem?"If you come up to it, and you just can't do it, then that's jolly well where you are."

Nice looking stone. Some of the links don't seem to work for me ???? Just thought I'd let you know.
By the way, I can't remember who it was who said: "If it's Alcoholics Anonymous, why is it that the first thing they want you to do is to say your name"?Our house is as Neil left it- an Aladdin’s cave of 'stuff'.
