I ordered one from Inigo Jones on October 23rd. Still waiting. I remember early in the thread those that bought them on this side of the pond had a long wait to receive them. Today might be the day.

Yes Jimmy, it will get to you. Mine took over a month.

Got mine this week - took about 5 weeks to come.
Look dead flat actually, will it definately need lapping?
Cheers,

DK, mine was very rough on the surfaces regardless of whether it was flat or not. After lapping it was silky smooth. IIRC, I wouldn't have considered even running a razor over the surface of my unlapped Dragon's Tongue. Is yours smooth enough for polishing right out of the box?

I ordered mine on 10-23. I emailed last week and they said that they had just dispatched mine. They had to make a new batch. Maybe we will have a super good vein of rock.

Thanked: 13thegreatdk: Got two and both needed lapping. Very flat, but very rough.

Thanks for the advice gents, mine was flat (for a piece of slate!) but compared to my coticule nowhere near as smooth.
The coticule also needs lapping before I get into home honing, so looks like I'll be building those forearms up!!
BTW can I lap the Dragon's Tongue on sandpaper, or do I need a DMT to do that? Its seems fairly hard.
Sorry for all the questions......

Thanked: 13dk: No reason why you could not use sandpaper. Going to lap my second one on sandpaper. As already said, when it is lapped, it should be VERY smooth and stick to the sandpaper with suction.
