I move to cannonize it as the PHIG.
So let it be written, so let the delicious cookie/snack cake puns commence!

All this signifying with these letters ..... acronyms, whateveryacallit .... makes me feel old suddenly. Fast forward 50 years from now. Guys will be paying thousands of dollars for the legendary PHIG stone on ebay.
( BTW. I'd rather have used the green Big Grin Smiley but after the update it disappeared. The ROFL2 is cool but a bit of overkill compared to my true meaning )Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

If we're going to change the name from C12K or PHIG, why not go with the obvious, C-Nat.

I sold mine sometime ago but IIRC there was no notation on the box that claimed a grit rating. I bought mine from Woodcraft and they described it as 12k on their website. I wonder where the designation originated ? Not saying it is or it isn't, just wondering out loud.

Thanked: 3795I suspect that Woodcraft is to blame for it, as they seemed to be the original, or at least common, US source.
