    The stamp , if authentic, guarantees the stone is nakayama, and also they are quality goods. Bad stones were not stamped with that stamp.

    What I meant was , how does it perform? Is it fast? How's the final edges ?

    I started lapping it. Holy smokes it's a hard stone. It tried to eat my dmt 325. I think it's one of those top of the line maruka kiita you see selling for several thousand dollars. The feedback is astounding, and it's incredibly fine. Finer that my previous best jnat. Which cost 8x more than this one!

    Depends on the individual stones, Maruka is just a stamp that means the stone is indeed a Nakayama.
