Thanked: 13245The Full Honing Arsenal (pics)
Since Speedster/Mark is coming up from Spokane tomorrow to sit down and try out some honing, the wife went and bought us a waterproof tablecloth so we could sit at the Diningroom table and hone...
I took the oportunity to bring down the full arsenal and get some pics too
Yes I made the labels and Clearcoated or Epoxy Sealed them on each hone between the clear acrylic sheets so that they will always have labels... I used Black magic marker where I couldn't use labels..
The Bench strops are 24" Leather with CrOx and CeOx
Hmmmmmm small problem with this picture, No room for beers on the damn table, gotta work on that

You could fit 2 beer between the honing solution and that thin yellow and white duel hone, problem solved. You're welcome

Careful you don't wear them out .....
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Wow! I cannot even imagine having such choices for any blade or blade issue you may encounter.

Thanked: 51Glen, what do you think about your hard translucent Arkansas stone? One of my dad's friends shaves with straight razors, and he told me that's all he uses to keep his razors sharp. Seems to be in opposition to current trends, but the times have changed..... Anyway, where in your progression would you use a hard translucent arkansas?
