It's not HAD when you sharpen razors for people, just the right tools of the trade for whoever asks for a specific edge.

Thanked: 13249I have told this story a few times in the past,
When I first started with a Straight Razor 30+ years ago, the barber (Dave) that got me started went with me to "The Naked Edge" in Denver and helped me pick out 2 Straights and I had to order that stone, that was the name I remember them calling it. There might have been a "True White" "Pure White" or "Snow White" thrown in there too .. I maintained my two razors on that one stone for over 20 years never knowing any better or any different.. The razors shaved OK and left me with a much more comfortable shave then anything else I had tried.. In 1982 that stone cost me $102 it is very very dense and might be the heaviest hone on the table, it polishes to a nice smooth edge and is a good solid performer.. I rarely use it any longer but I do have one razor that is maintained on it only, just so I always can have a reference point... Just like I have one razor that is always maintained on the Swaty as a reference since I rarely use that either...

Thanked: 247+1 to your method of labeling. That is a really great idea! I especially like the acrylics.

Glen, I'm not sure what to say about this post, but one thing's for sure, I'm ecstatic about the opportunity you're making available to me. The fact you're also allergic to cats is just a nice bonus! No need to OD on Zyrtec tomorrow.
Now, I see what you meant about the HAD remark earlier this month in regards to the Yakima meet-up. Aye, carumba!
