Wow! what a collection. I see you have a bottle of honing solution in the midst of all your goodies. Is this something you recommend?

Look close that is Smith's honing solution and I only use it on the Charnley Forest and the Arkansas stones sitting next to it, in fact Speedster used it when he tried the Arkie on the second razor he did..
I like it because it is easily cleaned off, and gives a nice slick feel to the stones, but doesn't leave you with Oil that seeps into everything and everywhere

ps: I am sitting at Starbucks in town uploading the vid right now I would have had it done this past weekend but it was the wife's B-day so that took precedence

That is a Slate back. My Coticule is a true Finisher, an older Select grade originally from Howard over at the Perfect Edge I scored a matching Slurry stone from Zib/Rich here at SRP and I have a really nice BBW also from Howard (please don't ask the Coticule Vein, a few people have tried to guess but I have never really cared)

I dont care either about the vein ,actually i had 3 coticules and never cared for any of them.
