Martin I think liking a stone one way or another sometimes comes down to the razors in your collection and how the stones work for those razors

Nice job on your razor Mark, its great to shave with one that you hone yourself. You also have the courage of a lion honing on camera in front of Glen your first time! He is a great teacher and helped with my honing when I met him in Yakima and I never even honed for him, just watched and asked alot of questions and by the time I left he had me believing that I could hone as good as him in no time.
Anyway good work on your honing and good luck.

I was nervous as hell but tried to concentrate on what I was doing. I was glad when he stopped filming. It's not easy making mistakes in front of a camera, but I tried to just let it go and learn all I could from the master.

Thanks for kind words, and I hope to meet you in Yakima on May 5-6th.

    Wink

True coincidence, the Computer call in this Vid that I answered was a call about the Republican primaries up here from the Ron Paul election commitee, now as I was was uploading the video this morning here at Starbucks I didn't notice until they were leaving, but sitting across the room was Ron Paul himself...

That was great gents!! Thanks so much for posting. That last part "pushing" the water off the stone was a real eye openner for me! Mark - You really are a trooper brother! And a fast learner! Not sure I would have been able to pull that out!!

    Thanks again!
