Thanked: 12I don't know that it is quite common I have never seen a hone like that. Without using it I couldn't say it would be good for razors or not but it is defiantly different and would be nice in a hone collection. I think you did good.

Nice little thing. Will give you more info in a week when i get it. I am leaving Sweden for a visit to Belgrade, serbia today. I will hopefully find some nice barber things to Bring home and i will visit and speak to the active old barbers shops

I am back home and enjoyed the trip! Great country with lovely people.
i washed the small hone, it looks synthetic and the color is brownish.
I could detect "U.S.E.T W." on the back.

I am not sure, pretty fine but not As fine natural thuringen stone. More like my carborundum 102 which is 8-9k.
I really dont know , i need to try it out. How do i check roughnesswithout a microscope?
