Thanked: 267There are Japanese Naturals that run well into the $30K range for a standard stone 8" X 3" X 1.5 " thick in the 1-2 Kilogram range. Although I have only seen pictures of them they look perfect. J-Nats can certainly put a hole in the bank account.

So told me that he and his dad have a couple of stones they would never consider selling, and which would easily go for more than that. Of course if I were to buy a stone like that, I'd buy it via So to make that I get what I pay for.

Also, often times the very very rare stones were owned by very prominent people in Japan and that fact alone can send prices even higher.
