Thanked: 66Well I am to having very good luck, he has not even bothered to ship it yet. Day 6 you better believe this wing nut will get very bad feedback.
I was excited about the mystery stone. Now not so much.

Thanked: 10Im sure he used the cheapest shipping cost to that why its taking a while, personally I will not buy from the states unless I really have to. I live in Glasgow! Scotland to shipping to uk that's a week or more, if its held in customs then we are looking at two weeks.

Thanked: 202You have also increased riskof not getting it by showing it here before you had posetion of it. Sellers often have no clue about them and surf this forum for price advice and if they whif that the price they getting could be much more they can decide "To loose item in post" because they wanted to save money on postage tehy haven'g got tracking on it.
Hopefully this is not the case

Thanked: 66I stand corrected, he just never uploaded tracking and shipped yesterday. Lucky he only lives 1 state away.
I am glad I got this. It is defiantly a thuri. And in great shape.
It will fit great into my collection. I will post photos when I get back into town in a few days.

Thanked: 66I got to my motel room, and had time to play with it. It creates a slurry identical to my other labled German hones.
I smelled the slurry and rubbed it on my teeth. Super fine, 12k+ All evedence shows German water stone, or one like it from a similar slate quarry. How long have they been pulling the blue & purple welsh hones like AJ sells? I need to order some from him just to have an example for my identification samples..
It's the one on the right, the middle one is my unlabeled y/g Esher, far left is a blue thury
Sorry about the lighting This two bit motel in the middle of Aarkansas we are staying at kinda sucks,
